Grits Spoon Bread - Theresa (Avery) Cook

  • Cooking Time: 350 for 50 to 60 minutes
  • 1 cup hominy grits
  • 2/3 cup dry milk powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. In 2 quart saucepan, bring 3 cups water to boil. Stir in grits, reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat. With spoon, stir in remaining ingredients, beat 1 minute. Pour mixture into greased 1-quart casserole, bake for 50 -60 minutes.
