Herbed Rice

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp chicken base*
  • 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place rice in a greased 9x13” pan. Put remaining ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour liquid over the rice. Bake for 35 minutes.
  2. *This is not chicken bouillon granules. It is like a thick paste sold in glass jars alongside the bouillon.
