Honey-glazed Chicken
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 30 minutes

- Preparation Time: 90 minutes
- main ingredients :
- 1 kg Chicken ( cut into smaller pieces)
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 Egg (beaten)
- Marinating the Chicken :
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 1 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 tbsp sour yogurt
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil ( mustard oil recommended)
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp tamarind juice (optional)
- salt to taste
- Caramelizing :
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 tsp honey
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- thai lemon grass (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all the marinating ingredients and wrap the bowl with a plastic wrap and refrigerate the chicken for around 1 hour.
- Heat a frying pan .
- Dip the chicken pieces in the egg mixture and roll in the flour bed and fry till the chicken turns into a medium brown shade.
- Deep fry all the chicken pieces.
- Soak the excess oil off.
- In another frying pan, pour the sugar and stir it and add water and honey.
- Put the fried chicken pieces and toss it with the lemongrass.
- Serve hot with garlic sauce.
