Italian Meatball Mix In A Jar

  • 2 1/2 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 2/3 cup dried minced onion
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup parsley flakes, dried
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS (per batch)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 pound ground beef
DIRECTIONS
  1. n a bowl, combine the first six ingredients; mix well. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months. YIELD=4 batches (4 cups each).
  2. TO PREPARE MEATBALLS: In a bowl, combine egg and 1 cup meatball mix. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. In a skillet, brown meaballs; drain. Transfer to a 13 x 9" baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
