Jam Cake

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup jam
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In large bowl, combine all ingredients and beat on high speed for 2 minutes, then divide batter between 2 greased and floured round cake pans.
  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cakes test done. Cool. Spread jam between layers. Top with cream cheese frosting.
