Lemon Herb Green Beans

  • 1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
DIRECTIONS
  1. Seasoned green beans make a great side dish for almost any main course. Basil, oregano and lemon peel accent the fresh flavor.
  2. Prep Time: 5 minutes
  3. Cook Time: 7 minutes

  5. Ingredients:
  6. 1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed
  7. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  8. 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
  9. 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
  10. 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  11. Directions:
  12. 1. Cook beans in boiling salted water in large uncovered saucepan on medium-high heat 7 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain.
  13. 2. Return beans to saucepan. Toss with remaining ingredients. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  14. Lemon Herb Asparagus: Use 1 1/2 pounds asparagus, ends trimmed, in place of the green beans.
