Lemon Herb Green Beans

- 1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
DIRECTIONS
- Seasoned green beans make a great side dish for almost any main course. Basil, oregano and lemon peel accent the fresh flavor.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 7 minutes
- Makes 8 servings.
- Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- Directions:
- 1. Cook beans in boiling salted water in large uncovered saucepan on medium-high heat 7 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain.
- 2. Return beans to saucepan. Toss with remaining ingredients. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- Lemon Herb Asparagus: Use 1 1/2 pounds asparagus, ends trimmed, in place of the green beans.
