M&M Popcorn Balls

- 1. 3 Bags of popped tender white popcorn
- 2. 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
- 3. 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4. 1 1/4 cup marshmallows
- 5. 1 bag mini baking M&Ms
- 6. 1/2 cup butter
- 7. 3-4 cups powedered sugar
DIRECTIONS
- In a large pot or dutch oven combine all ingredients except the popcorn.
- stir and bring to a boil
- turn off heat and slowly add and stir in popcorn
- pour the popcorn mixture into a baking pan (whatever popcorn you couldn't get into the pot, nows a good time to kind of mix it in.)
- let cool for about 2 minutes
- add mini M&Ms
- grease your hands with butter and shape into balls
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I love popcorn balls. I made these for my little girls school pizza night. Also I ate these LOTS as a kid during the fall, on hay rides, haunted houses, etc. I just kind of pulled this one out of my behind after checking several recipes, and testing a few out I made one that worked best for me. I hope you like it.
