Marshmallow Fondant

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 1/2 pounds powdered sugar
  • Melt marshmallows in microwae or in a double boiler. combine water and knead in sugar until the dough is not sticky. I use my dough hook but you can probably use your hands. You may not need all the sugar.
  • let sit until cool.
  • Store wrapped in airtight container
  • Reheat in microwave to use it if it gets hard
DIRECTIONS
  1. Notes Hardens on outside stays soft on the inside
  2. For chocolate, add 1 oz melted chocolate and 1 tablespoon for small recipe
  3. may add flavoring, 1 tablespoon candy melts, or any type
  4. can roll very thin without tearing
  5. crisco on your hands may help handling
  6. if string just add a touch more water and heart
  7. may be used for roses,leaves...anything
  8. do not use marshmellow cream
  9. can be refrigerated
  10. doesn't crack
  11. doesn't tear like regular fondant
