Marshmallow Fondant
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 1/2 pounds powdered sugar
- Melt marshmallows in microwae or in a double boiler. combine water and knead in sugar until the dough is not sticky. I use my dough hook but you can probably use your hands. You may not need all the sugar.
- let sit until cool.
- Store wrapped in airtight container
- Reheat in microwave to use it if it gets hard
DIRECTIONS
- Notes Hardens on outside stays soft on the inside
- For chocolate, add 1 oz melted chocolate and 1 tablespoon for small recipe
- may add flavoring, 1 tablespoon candy melts, or any type
- can roll very thin without tearing
- crisco on your hands may help handling
- if string just add a touch more water and heart
- may be used for roses,leaves...anything
- do not use marshmellow cream
- can be refrigerated
- doesn't crack
- doesn't tear like regular fondant
