Milk Gravy
INGREDIENTS
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Place skillet with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil and browned bits (reserved from frying Chicken Fried Steak) over medium-high heat. Whisk in flour, whisking constantly, 1 minute. Slowly add milk, whisking constantly; stir in pepper and salt. Continue cooking, whisking constantly, 8 to 10 minutes, or until thickened. Serve over steaks.
