Orange Chicken
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp honey
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1) Combine chicken, zest, salt, pepper, and garlic and refrigerate for 30 min.
  2. 2) Preheat oven to 400.
  3. 3) Combine juice, sake, soy sauce, and honey in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer until sauce is reduced to 2/3 cup.
  5. 4) Heat Tbsp canola oil in a large oven proof skillet over medium high heat.
  6. Add chicken breasts and saute 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken over and drizzle with 3 Tbsp of sauce.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve with orange sauce.
