Oven-Candied Sweet Potatoes

- Servings: 6 servings
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 2 Tb. water
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 med. sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
DIRECTIONS
- Melt butter. Stir in corn syrup, water, brown sugar and salt.
- Cut potatoes in halves lengthwise. Dip in corn syrup mixture, coateing all sides. Place in 13X9X2" pan. Pour remaining syrup over top.
- Bake in slow oven 325ยบ 'til tender and glazed, about 1 hour and 15 min. Baste occasionally.
