PEANUT BUTTER CHIFFON LAYER CAKE
INGREDIENTS

- 2 eggs, separated
- 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/14 cup milk
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Grease and flour two 8 inch round cake pans.
- Beat egg whites on medium speed until foamy.
- Beat in granulated sugar on high speed, one TBSP at a time until stiff and glossy.
- In separate bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
- Add brown sugar, peanut butter, oil and half of the milk. Beat on low speed one minute.
- Add remaining milk and yolks. Beat on high one minute.
- Fold in meringue. Pour in pans.
- Bake approx 30 minutes or until done.
