Pasta Soup
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 # ground beef
  • 2 sm onion, chopped
  • 1 lg. carrot, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • (2)-14.5 oz. diced tomatoes
  • 15 oz. red kidney beans
  • 15 oz. Great Northern beans w/liquid
  • 45 oz. V-8
  • 15 oz. tomato sauce
  • 14 oz. beef broth
  • 1 T. white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 t. oregano
  • 1 t. basil
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 1/2 # short tube pasta, cooked and drained
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown beef; drain. Add onion, carrot, celery & garlic. Cook 10 min. Add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT the pasta and simmer for 1 hour. Before serving, add pasta to soup.
