Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar.
  • 1/4 cup oleo.
  • Pineapple slices.
  • Cherries and nuts.
  • 1 1/4 cup flour.
  • 3/4 cup milk.
  • 1/2 tsp. salt.
  • 1/4 cup Shortening.
  • 1 tsp. vanilla.
  • 2 tsp. baking powder.
  • 1 cup sugar.
  • 1 egg.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt butter and add to cake pan.
  2. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  3. Arrange pineapple slices/syrup and place cherries and in center of pineapples.
  4. sprinkle nuts over top.
  5. In separate bowl sift flower, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  6. Add shortening and milk.
  7. Beat for 1 minute.
  8. Add vanilla and egg.
  9. Beat until smooth.
  10. Spoon batter over pineapple slices.
  11. Bake at 350.
