Pineapple sparerib sauce
INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/2 c sherry
  • 1/2 c soy sauce
  • 1/2 c catsup
  • 1 can 8oz crushed pineapple
  • 1 T roasted garlic
  • 1 t salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. combine all ingredients and cook for about 30 minutes, covered in saucepan.
  2. Use this sauce to bake chicken or spareribs directly in it, I usually put in casserole dish covered for 30 mins at 350 degrees, then uncovered for another 30 minutes.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
A great overall cooking sauce, it is also really good with chicken. My great aunt Alice came up with this one, and I have not changed it much.
