Polish Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

  • Dough:
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • Filling:
  • 1 lb cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS
  1. Grease 9x13 pan.
  2. Heat Oven to 350°
  3. Make Dough:
  4. Cream butter, egg and sugar.
  5. Add vanilla and sour cream.
  6. Stir in dry ingredients.
  7. Spread 1/2 of dough in pan. Dough will be sitcky. Pat with floured fingers
  8. Make Filling:
  9. Mix filling ingredients together and spoon over dough.
  10. Add Remaining Dough:
  11. Drop remaining dough over filling by spoonfuls; it will spread while baking.
  12. Make Toppping:
  13. Mix first 3 topping ingredients; sprinkle over cake.
  14. Sprinkle chopped pecans over topping.
  15. Bake:
  16. Bake for 45 minutes.
