Quick Lunch Cake
INGREDIENTS

  • 6 dl (2 1/3 cup) sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 ts vanillla sugar
  • 4 ts baking powder
  • 4 ss cocoa powder
  • 3 1/2 dl (1 1/2 cup) milk
  • 9 dl (3 1/3 cup) flour
  • 330 g melted butter
  • Glazing:
  • 300 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g melted margarine
  • 2 ss coffee
  • 1 ss cocoa powder
  • 3 ts vaniljesukker
DIRECTIONS
  1. Whip sugar and egg together until creamy, then add milk and the rest of the dry. Add melted butter in the end.
  2. Fill in a sprayed deep oven pan, oven at 340, app. 20 minutes.
  3. Let it cool of a few minutes, while you make the frosting. If the frosting is vanishing in the cake, wait a bit more - it is supposed to sink halfway into the cake.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
Nice for kids to make their "own" cake: This I got from my younger sister when she was around 10-11, she measured in coffee cups. I cannot do that here, but try to fill up your coffee cups while you measure and rewrite what I have done.
