Ranch Dressing

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup real mayonnaise
- 1 cup regular sour cream
- 1 cup 2% buttermilk
- 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon minced green onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 t ground pepper
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoon chives (the top part of the green onion)
- some parsley (for color, this is optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Stir together all ingredients and refrigerate at least two hours before serving to blend flavors.

I've searched long and hard for a delicious "restaurant quality" ranch dressing recipe, and finally come up with (based on a version I found online somewhere) the following:
If you want to make a "healthier" version, I recommend using light sour cream (and still use real mayo). 've tried using light sour cream (or non-fat sour cream) along with light mayo, and it's not as good.
