  • 3 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1 c Light corn syrup
  • 1 c Water
  • 1/2 tspn cinnamon oil
  • 1 ts Red food coloring
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a lg. heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup,
  2. and water. Cook on med-high heat until candy
  3. thermometer reads 300~ (hard crack stage), stirring
  4. occasionally. Remove from the heat; stir in oil and
  5. food coloring, keeping face away from mixture as odor
  6. is very strong. Immediately pour onto an oiled cookie
  7. sheet. Cool; break into pieces. Store in airtight
  8. containers.
