Saturday Morning Magic
INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup water or coconut water
  • 4 kale leaves
  • 1 bunch of broccoli
  • a stalk of green grapes (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 banana
  • 1 peach
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup of ice
DIRECTIONS
  1. Blend all ingredients, except ice, for 30 seconds.
  2. Add ice and blend for an additional 15-20 seconds.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
RECIPE BACKSTORY
After a crazy, busy week, it’s time to refresh - from the inside out. This smoothie originated in leftover produce that I found in the fridge… all blended together to create something really yummy! What a way to start the day - with more than 3 servings of fruits and veggies each - before 9am!
