Shortbread cookies

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • optional toppings: maraschino cherries, cut up
  • sprinkles
  1. Take small spoonfuls of dough and roll into a ball.
  2. Flatten balls with a fork (dip in flour or cornstarch so that fork doesn't stick).
  3. Optional: top with a 1/8 maraschino cherry or sprinkles of your choice.
  4. Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 until edges start turning brown.
