Sicilian Pistachio Pasta

  • Pistachio pesto
  • Pistachios
  • Parmesan (optional)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Make pasta :)
  2. Add pistachio pesto (can be bought or home made; it should have at least 65% of pistachios)
  3. Sprinkle with mashed pistachios and parmesan (the cheese is optional)
RECIPE BACKSTORY
The recipe is from Sicilia (Italy), where my parents acquired it from a local woman. It is ridiculously easy :-)
