Spaghetti Sauce

  • 1 28oz can crushed whole tomatoes
  • 1 28oz can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 15oz can Tomato Paste
  • 1 15oz can WaterSpices: One Tablespoon Each:
  • Sweet Basil Salt
  • Oregano Coarse Pepper
  • Garlic Salt Sage
  • Minced Garlic 1 Large Bayleaf
  • 2 Stalks Chopped Celery
  • 1 Green Pepper-chopped
  • 1 Small Onion-chopped
  • 1 15oz can Mushrooms with Liquid
  • 1Tbs Oil
  • 1 Whole Carrot (reduces Acid)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Simmer Mushrooms and vegetables (except carrot) in oil in a dutch oven for 3-5mins. Add Tomato Paste and water. Simmer until bubbly.
  2. Add whole Tomatoes, Sauce, Spices and carrot. Simmer 4-6 hours. Serve with Parmesan chicken and garlic bread.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
Besides pizza, Spaghetti is my favorite meal. The recipe came from my grandma Weller, On her side of the family there is mostly itallians, so she likes to make her family meals based on itallian foods when we all get together.
