Spanish Rice

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 3 Tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 (14 ounce can) chicken broth
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown rice in oil until golden.
  2. Add onions and sauté until translucent. Add garlic and stir one minute. Add remaining ingredients cover and simmer 20 minutes.
