Spinach Madeline
INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pks. frozen chopped spinach
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp . Flour
  • 2 tbsp .yellow onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable liquid
  • 1/2 tsp . black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp . celery salt
  • 3/3 tsp . garlic salt
  • 1 6 oz .roll jalapeno cheese
  • 1 tsp . Worcestershire
  • Season to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook spinach according to instructions on pk. ,drain & save liquor . Melt butter in a sauce pan over low heat . Add flour, stirring until blended & smooth but not brown .Add hopped onion & cook until soft then add liquor slowly stirring to avoid lumps .Cook until smooth thick, add seasoning,& cheese which has been cut in small piece Stir until cheese melts then combine cooked spinach .
  2. Put in a baking dish ,top with bread crumbs,
  3. Bake @ 350 degs. about 15 to 20 minutes
