Strawberry Jam

  • 4lbs of strawberries (5c crushed)
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 1 box pectin
DIRECTIONS
  1. hull strawberries
  2. fill water bath and pre-heat on medium heat
  3. crush the strawberried in layers to get 5 cups crushed
  4. place in big stock pot
  5. measure out sugar into a seperate bowl
  6. stir pectin in strawberries quickly
  7. turn heat on to high and bring to boil stirring constantly
  8. Add sugar quickly and stir constantly until it boils
  9. boil for 1 min
  10. remove from heat and skim off any foam
  11. ladle in jars process 10 min
