Strawberry Velvet Squares

INGREDIENTS
  • Crust:
  • 1 pkg. Strawberry Cake Mix
  • 1 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 egg
  • Filling:
  • 1 (16 oz.) container strawberry frosting
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. strawberry flavoring
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9x2 baking pan.
  2. For crust, combine cake mix, oats, nuts, margarine and egg with fork or by hand. Mix until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups. Press remaining
  3. mixture into prepared pan.
  4. For filling, blend frosting, cream cheese, eggs and strawberry flavoring in mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. Spread over crust. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until firm when pan is slightly shaken.
