Swanson Flame-Free Cherries Jubilee

- cup of Swanson 100% Pure Montmorency Tart Cherry Juice
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 cup of pitted fresh cherries or canned, drained cherries
- 2 tablespoons of brandy (optional)
- 1 pint of low-fat vanilla ice cream
DIRECTIONS
- In a small saucepan, heat cherry juice over high heat. Whisk in cornstarch and brown sugar, and heat to boiling point. Add cherries and coat them with the mixture.
- Remove from heat momentarily to add brandy, and place back over heat. Simmer for ten minutes and remove from heat. Spoon hot fruit mix over low-fat vanilla ice cream. Serves 4.
