Sweet & Sour Cabbage Soup

INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 lbs Cabbage cored and cut into bite size pieces
- 2 1/2 lbs Flanken
- 1 1/2 lbs beef soup bones
- 1 (28 oz ) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 carrots grated
- 3 teaspoons salt to taste
- 6 gloves garlic minced
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 cups water
DIRECTIONS
- Place Cabbage, Flanken , bones , tomatoes , onions , carrots, salt, sugar , garlic & water into a large pot.. Bring mixture to a boil.. Lower heat to simmer and cook stirring occasionally for 2 1/2 to 3 hours ..until Flanken is tender .
