Sweet & Sour Cabbage Soup
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 1/2 lbs Cabbage cored and cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 1/2 lbs Flanken
  • 1 1/2 lbs beef soup bones
  • 1 (28 oz ) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 carrots grated
  • 3 teaspoons salt to taste
  • 6 gloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups water
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place Cabbage, Flanken , bones , tomatoes , onions , carrots, salt, sugar , garlic & water into a large pot.. Bring mixture to a boil.. Lower heat to simmer and cook stirring occasionally for 2 1/2 to 3 hours ..until Flanken is tender .
