Sweet Dinner Rolls

INGREDIENTS

  • 3-4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 t yeast (or 1 packet)
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c warmed milk
  • 1/2 c warm water
  • extra butter for spreading on dough
DIRECTIONS
  1. In mixer add 2 cups of flour, sugar, salt, yeast, butter and egg.
  2. mix for about 30 seconds
  3. slowly add milk and water and mix about a minute
  4. add remaining flour a 1/2 cup at a time until dough sticks to hook and cleans bowl let mix about 30 sec in between
  5. mix about 2 minutes
  6. cover bowl and let rise about 20 minutes
  7. divide dough in half and roll out on floured surface to a 12 inch circle
  8. use pastry or pizza wheel to cut wedges then roll
  9. place on baking sheet cover and let rise about an hour
  10. bake at 400 degrees for about 10-15 min
  11. freeze or serve warm
