Teriyaki Steak
INGREDIENTS
- 2 pounds sirloin steak
- 1 tablespoon powdered ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sherry
DIRECTIONS
- Cut steak into thin slices. Combine ginger, garlic, onion, sugar, soy sauce and sherry and pour mixture over meat. Let stand one to two hours. (I usually put this in a zip lock bag to marinade.) Thread meat on skewers and broil quickly on both sides over charcoal.
