Turkey Brine

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 gallons water
  • 1/2 C kosher salt
  • 1/2 C dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Cajun spice
  • 2 tsp celery seed
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine ingredients and heat water to dissolve salt and sugar
  2. Cool and soak turkey for 2 days
  3. After 2 days, remove turkey and dry on rack in refrigerator for 2 days
