Turkish Kısır
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 20 minutes
  • Servings: for 5 people

  • 300-500 gr boiled and pounded wheat
  • 3 spoon tomato paste
  • 1 onion
  • 200 gr hot water
  • oil
  • 3 little spoon salt
  • Spices:
  • some peppermint
  • some cumin
  • some red pepper
  • some parsley
  • one lemon(only juice)
DIRECTIONS
  1. pour hot water into the boiled and pounded wheat
  2. wait for 5 minutes for swelling
  3. then add tomato paste,littley sliced onion,salt,peppermint,cumin,red pepper
  4. stir with a spoon or knead with your hand
  5. add lemon and stir again
  6. add oil and stir again
  7. add parsley and stir for the last time
  8. you can shape Kısır like little burgers
  9. Turkish Kısır is ready!
