- Preparation Time: 5-10
- 1-2 vanilla beans, scraped or whole
- 2 c granulated sugar
- Add sugar to airtight container. If vanilla bean is whole, slice bean in half lengthwise and scrape seeds into airtight container with the sugar. Bury beans in sugar and seal lid tightly. Allow sugar to sit 1-2 weeks to absorb vanilla flavors. Use as granulated sugar.
