Venison Roast

  • venison roast (trim fat or silver)
  • 1 pk. hot pork breakfast
  • sausages
  • 4 stks. green onion (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp .parsley (chopped)
  • 1 pk. onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 2 cans sliced mushrooms
  • Tony's seasoning
  • flour
DIRECTIONS
  1. Marinate roast 48 hrs. if possible
  2. with Italian wish bone dressing,
  3. using a sharp pick to prick holes
  4. in roast .To cook make a number
  5. slits in the roast & stuff in the
  6. following mixture . Pork, garlic,
  7. green onion, parsley, black
  8. Pepper & salt . Flour
  9. roast well & place in a uncovered
  10. dutch oven that is slightly oiled
  11. with olive oil .Place in a 400 deg.
  12. preheated oven to brown, turn
  13. once .Brown about 25 minutes
  14. per side Then add 1 cup water &
  15. the onion soup mix , cream of
  16. mushroom soup, sliced
  17. mushrooms . Reduce heat to
  18. 350 degrees cover & cook about
  19. 4 hours . Add water if needed.
  20. Gravy can be thickened with a
  21. Little corn starch in water .
