Whiskey Burgers

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pounds ground chuck -- fresh is best
  • 1/4 cup sweet onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon fine minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
  • 2 teaspoons A-1 steak sauce
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon american whiskey (tennessee)
  • 1 slice each cheddar and jack cheese
  • grilled onions, well caramelized
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix liquids together then combine each item one at a time with liquid being last. Let sit at least 2 hours then hit the grill.
