"Dr. Oz Would Be So Proud" Oatmeal
  • 1 cup whole grain oats
  • 2 cups water
  • pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup vanilla soy milk
  • 1 Tb;s. Splenda
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 rounded Tbls. ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or blueberries
  1. Bring water and salt to a boil
  2. Reduce heat and add oats, cooking for 5-7 minutes and stirring occasionally
  3. Fold in remaining ingredients and serve hot
I admit it. I am an Oprah addict. I was so glad when Dr. Oz came on with the list of foods he recommends everyone add to their diet. My husband eat this oatmeal at least 4 days a week. Dr. Oz would be so proud!
