"Mom Fruitcake"

  • 2 c.candied cherries
  • 1pkg.fruitcake mix
  • 1pkg. golden rasins
  • 4c. nutmeats(pecans)
  • 1/2 c.flour
  • MIX
  • 1 Yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4c.brandy
  • 1.t.salt
  1. Mix the cake mixture until smooth.Then mix in the fruit part of it while you doing this it wil become stiff and if it is stiff enough that you may want a nother person on stand by. You bake in a 275* degree oven,or until it is done.
This is another find to have is our mother's fruitcake recipe she and my father are two people who were the one's that liked this fruitcake.Now I would only if there wasn't one ingredients in it that I am not a fan of,it's a piece of some peel.
