Lemon Garlic Chicken BreastMy boyfriend and I love lean meats because of how much less fat it has, however, less fat also means more dry! I have discovered a way to keep the chicken breast juicy and moist (yes, I said the "M" word ;)). This is one of his favorite ways that I cook and flavor chicken so I can't wait to share this recipe with all of y'all!
Whole Roasted Brussels SproutsI have never been a fan of Brussels sprouts until I had some this past Thanksgiving. I thought there was going to be very bitter and not very tasty. However, after learning how to roast Brussels Sprouts an adding some other ingredients, I immediately became a Brussels sprouts addict! They are so flavorful, seasoned, and I can't get over the nutty taste they have! They are a great appetizer or side dish!
Strawberry Shortcake (Overnight Oats)There is nothing I dislike more than waking up for work and being cold and standing in front of the fridge hoping that my breakfast will just make itself. This recipe for overnight oats is one of my favorites! Not only is it delicious, but it's healthy too! Enjoy :)
Cinnamon Roll Oats with Blueberries (Overnight Oats)Who doesn't love Cinnamon Rolls? I can tell you who doesn't; my thighs. Let's be real here, we all wish we could have donuts and cinnamon rolls every morning, but they don't have the most nutrition content to start off your morning. Having a ton of sugar in the morning will only cause you to have a huge crash by mid morning. I hope you'll enjoy one of our favorite ready-to-go breakfast options!
Baked Chicken TendersThat moment when you can make a delicious meal that his healthy, tasty, AND your child can't get enough of it! This recipe is perfect for anyone that enjoys food. :)
BBQ Chicken DrumsticksI love that chicken drumsticks can be made for any occasion as well as any season! We love to have them when it's cold out and even when we are grilling by the pool!
Turkey MeatballsMeatballs are always associated with spaghetti but there are endless ways to prepare and serve meatballs! This recipe is just one of the many ways that I love to have turkey meatballs! I serve my on parmesan couscous with my favorite tomato sauce and some parmesan sprinkles on top.
Strawberry Fro-Yo PopsWhen people think of dessert after dinner, majority of the time, we think of something sweet and unhealthy. But all we really have to do is think of some flavorful and delicious ingredients that just need a little altering. And this is where I decided to make up my own recipe of greek yogurt popsicles. It's perfect for after dinner treats as well as on a hot summer day!
TexMex OmeletSometimes I am in a huge mood for a giant breakfast that is high in protein. Especially when it's leg day, I really like to fuel my body with enough nutrition and this is one of my favorite dishes to have!
TexMex Taco SoupLiving in good ol' Tejas, you can't NOT love Mexican food! Sometimes, I just want to curl up on the couch after a long day at work with a hot and incredibly flavorful dish while watching Netflix and this is the meal to have!
Americanized Beef Steak Fried RiceGrowing up in a Vietnamese family, rice always seemed to be concrete food item. One of my favorite dishes was fried rice. It was an easy meal that was not only impactful in flavor, but it was very filling as well. I hope y'all will enjoy my version of Beef Steak Fried Rice!
Beef Shish KabobsWho doesn't love food fresh from your grill with that slight smokey and savory taste? I know I do!
Asparagus Wrapped in ProsciuttoAsparagus is one of my favorite vegetables. It's a great side dish and appetizer. One of my favorite things about asparagus is how healthy they are yet how tasty they are as well! (Prosciutto tends to be a little salty so salt is not needed for this asparagus recipe).
Spicy Fiesta Lime TilapiaYou can't not say the title of this dish and not have your mouth water ;). I am a huge lover of all things spicy and limey. So of course I had to make my tilapia dish for dinner taste just that. I hope you like it as much as I did!
Turkey Bacon Egg MuffinsI'm one of those people that love a filling and fairly big breakfast. My favorite thing about this recipe is that I'm able to whip this breakfast up, put it in the oven, and can relax on the couch while the rest of the family gets up so we can all enjoy breakfast together. This breakfast has got your protein and your veggies. You can't go wrong with that!

Cooking with Crystal
I am your average bonus mom residing in Houston, Texas that is a self taught cook. This may seem a bit biased, but out of my mom's 12 brothers and sisters, my mom is definitely the best cook, and I was lucky enough to watch her make the most delicious foods with the most simple ingredients. I would love nothing more than to share some of these amazing recipes with my friends and family, and I hope that I can help make some sort of an impact to make cooking more enjoyable for y'all.
