BREAKFAST PIZZA
My grandchildren want this every time we are blessed to have them for breakfast! Submitted by: "Sheila Moeller"CRUNCHY CABBAGE SALAD
THIS IS A FAMILY FAVORITE AT OUR HOUSE! I TAKE IT OFTEN TO POT LUCKS, TOO, AND THERE'S NEVER ANY LEFT! Submitted by: "Sheila Moeller"Thai Tofu Butternut Squash
I found this in a magazine when looking for a vegetarian recipe for guests... our kids surprisingly loved it. My husband and I add a dash of hot curry on our plates. Also note, if you are not interested in coveting all of the spices for this recipe, find a good go to Thai curry blend, and just use about 2 TBLs of it in place of all of the spices. Left overs are also great on tortillas, or with Naan. Submitted by: "Lynn Cases"Jalepeno Rice
This side dish goes great with Thanksgiving meal and is requested at all our family gatherings. Easy to double for larger crowds. Is also good the next day. Spiciness depends on the level of the jalapenos. Submitted by: "Linda Moore"Best Oven Roasted Chicken Breasts
Very simple recipe for juicy and delicious chicken breasts every time. Use chicken for a main dish or add to salads and bowls. Submitted by: "Amy Dobos"Chocolate Mountain Cookies
This cookie recipe has been apart of the Hinzman (my mom's side) family forever. My mom or grandma always makes these cookies for Christmas time making it my favorite holiday tradition. Submitted by: "Sarah Bowman"Shrimp with Pasta Primavera
Hints: For the salad dressing, I mix up a packet of Good Season's zesty italian dressing using red wine vinegar. Also, you can use other vegetables that you have on hand - I often add asparagus or broccoli just to amp up the vegetable content. Submitted by: "Brenda Hill"Broccoli Salad
Great crunchy salad with a sweet dressing that goes great with barbecue or any type of meal. Submitted by: "Nancy Anderson"Chocolate cake
This recipe is from my best friend’s Mother who has had 4 strokes and is currently blind. She is a special lady and used to cook a lot but not anymore. I’m glad to pass her recipe along to you. I hope you enjoy the cake as much as I do. Hugs sweet girl! Love you! Lori Submitted by: "Lori Conway"Italian Wedding Soup
This is a great recipe for leftovers & it freezes well! I also add more spinach & I use ground Turkey. It makes it a lighter soup. Submitted by: "Sherry Woodard"Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Because this recipe uses oil rather than butter, cookies are a cake like consistency. Submitted by: "Dana O. Riegel"Chicken Spaghetti
This dish is great for family gatherings. A filling meal for all ages. Easily reheated for leftovers, too! Submitted by: "Becky Montgomery"Sweet Potato Casserole
Even if you don't like sweet potatoes, you will love this dish thanks to the butter and sugar! Honestly, it tastes like a dessert next to all of the other traditional Thanksgiving foods on your plate. Plus, it has a beautiful fall color. Submitted by: "Becky Montgomery"Sunny Turkey and Pasta Salad
This recipe holds up well and can be served several days after preparing.Caramel Turtle Brownies
The most talked about brownie recipe amongst Altrusans. It's got to be good!Steak Rub
Quick and easy go-to beef rub that can me made in batches and kept on hand for beef recipes.Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce
This has been a fall and winter family favorite for years. The recipe is so tasty and is even better the next day- that is... if there are any leftovers.
