Shephards PieThis is a meal I have been making for at least 25 years, my kids have always loved it. Now as grown men, they still request it
Bacon and Corn QuicheWho knew, that my family would love quiche?? Ever since they tried this they request it often.
Peanut butter pieI got this from a guy who ran a coffee shop in Fayettville. It was always a nice drive there to get some fresh roasted coffee beans. It was a sad day when he closed his shop.
Creamy CheesecakeI line the spring form pan on the outside with tin foil since I have had some of the butter leak out while making the cheesecake creating a mess!
Carmelized Banana Tart (Land O Lakes)This banana dessert is a variation of the classic “Tarte Tatin”. Recipe Tip 1 Make sure thawed puff pastry does not become warm or it may not rise properly. When rolling, work from center of dough toward edges taking care to keep consistent thickness. Recipe Tip 2 If using a glass baking dish, reduce oven temperature to 400°F. Bake as directed above.
9x13 Chicken Pot PieI had some leftover grilled chicken breasts and needed a way to use them. I also had bought a new product that I wanted to try, those little tubs of Knorr stock. Hubby has always loved when I make pot pies so he was quite happy when I told him what I was going to make. He groaned after eating, because he had eaten too much, I guess that is a good sign, right? Seriously though he said it was really good.
No fail pie crust (2 crusts, may use as top and bottom on pie or two pies with no top crust)I have been using this recipe since I got it from my SIL many years ago. Some people have told me that it is a Crisco pie crust recipe. Wherever it may have come from I have been using it for 30+ years and have never had it not turn out right. Someone once told me also that you can not re-roll pie crust, this particular recipe is very forgiving and I have re-rolled it many times.

Nourishing Soup And Salad
These are recipes that I have used for many years, there is one salad that we learned to love when we lived in Germany. Others are family recipes or friends recipes that we have made many times.
Pies, wonderful pies! Both sweet and savoury.
I love making pies and have never been intimidated with making the crust. In this cookbook my favorite crust that just never goes wrong will be included. Now if I could just get my husband to like pies, sigh. Oh well, I have plenty of takers including the people he works with.
Cakes that never fail to deliver.
Seems like I am always asked to bring a cake or cupcakes, I don't mind, I love making them. These are some of my very favorite recipes. I am sure you will find some to add to your favorites.
Hard to resist desserts
Not sure why, but most of my recipes are for desserts. I think it might be because other recipes I don't really measure and don't always make it the same. I must say, desserts are the most requested recipes I get also. Warning, most of these are best when you have guests to share with or it will be tempting you until they are all. I have found, that if I cut things into portions, wrap and freeze they are great for packing in lunches.
Fun appetizers and snacks
These are recipes that have been in my family for years and a few new ones I have found. If you are like me you are always looking for new recipes to serve your family and guests. I hope you find many here that will be deserving of being served to your family and friends.
