Kelly's Non-Alcoholic SpritzThank you for leading the Cali Metro team while I was out! Hope you enjoy a good spritz!
Carly's Simple but oh so good chocolate cookiesReminds me of my favorite restaurant in LA where they offer free chocolate chip cookies after dinner. The sea salt on top will change your life
Thiago's twist on Olive Oil & Almond CakeAfter having a delicious olive oil at Malibu Farm I went on a quest for trying a recipe. I found this recipe at a site called bromabakery.com, the recipe is very similar and I adjust sometimes based on what I am craving. I have also added limoncello and it was delicious. Hope you enjoy it!
Genius Cauliflower Soup From Paul Bertolli AKA Dime :)This genius recipe comes from a chef no less genius himself: Paul Bertolli, head chef at Chez Panisse and Oliveto for 20-plus years. In other words, the man knows his way around a vegetable.
Sarah Witt's Spanish TortillaI studied abroad in Spain in college and had a Spanish tortilla every chance I could! Such a simple and yummy dish. It makes me nostalgic every time I make it.
Dalton's Lemon Chicken SoupThis is my favorite variation of chicken soup. It is creamy, yet light and refreshing. Also, this is super easy to make and requires minimal time and clean-up!
Bran's Simple Slow Cooker Creamy Tortellini Vegetable SoupThis super simple Healthier Slow Cooker Creamy Tortellini Vegetable Soup is the perfect fall dinner…great for nights when you’re craving Italian, but want something warming and healthy too. A mix of vegetables, simmered with Italian seasonings, a splash of wine, kale, and cheese tortellini. Finish each bowl off with an extra sprinkle of cheese and serve with crusty bread. It’s hearty, full of greens, and so delicious. Great for just about any night of the week. Plus the leftovers the next day make for the best lunch!
Eric's Double Chocolate Espresso Fudge BrowniesI've been making this recipe since 2005 and over the years have tried different variations/combinations. It's always been a hit, and got me really excited about baking in general which I have been doing since then.
Ceylan's favorite Banana BreadMiguel shared this recipe when I first moved to U.S and since then this is one of my go to recipes. Remember me when baking :)
Melissa's Matcha Mille Crepe CakeI am obsessed with the Mille Crepe cakes from Lady M cake boutique in LA and haven't been able to master making one myself, the one's I've attempted flop over or just don't have the right amount of sweetness/pastry creme.
Sarah M's Whipped Feta with Honey DipThis dip could arguably be considered dessert it's so good....and it's super easy to make, which is a plus!
Paola's Favorite Childhood Comfort Food - Albondiga SoupHomemade albondiga soup is the best for those cold/rainy days... which we don't have a lot of in LA, but it's the perfect comfort food that reminds me of my mom's cooking.
Apricot Baked Brie by Cara (ABBC)This recipe reminds me of my all-time favorite restaurant up in Woodinville, Wa
Sarah Jo's Favorite Breakfast SandwichThis recipe was inspired by a viral video of an Indian street vendor making these egg breakfast sandwiches on a cart. I love street food and this tasty, indulgent breakfast sandwich comes together SO fast; be sure and have everything prepped before you start cooking.
Thank you for your interest in CARcar01's cookbook and for helping support the BakeSpace community of independent cookbook authors!
Here’s some quick information regarding how our cookbook platform works, along with a few tips for making the most of cookbooks you add to your library.
What is the Cookbook Café Platform?Cookbook Café is our one-of-a-kind cookbook publisher, marketplace and reader. It empowers everyone to create, market and distribute a cookbook as both a web-based eBook and an iPad app. It also makes it incredibly easy for home cooks to discover and use amazing grassroots cookbooks they won't find anywhere else. Since 2012, we've published thousands of cookbooks authored by home chefs, nonprofit organizations, clubs, brands, etc. Our goal is to democratize cookbook publishing and make it easy to build an online library of amazing grassroots cookbooks.
How do I "download" a cookbook? You don't need to "download" cookbooks or deal with any files. All of the cookbooks you select (free and paid) using Cookbook Café become available to you automatically on any device (computer, tablet or smartphone) whenever you’re logged-in to your free BakeSpace account.
When you see a cookbook you like, simply click the green "Get it Now" button. If you're not logged in to BakeSpace, you'll be asked to login (or join) so the cookbook can be added to your cookbook library. Once in your library, you can access the cookbook anytime, anywhere via BakeSpace.com, as well as our Cookbook Café iPad app.
While you're checking out cookbooks, also take some time to visit other parts of the delicious BakeSpace.com community where you can swap recipes and connect with others who share your passion for food and the culinary lifestyle.
Get ready to enjoy a uniquely smart and social cookbook experience!Once a cookbook is added to your BakeSpace library, our proprietary recipe indexing technology makes it easy for you to find any specific recipe across all of your cookbooks… so there's no need to remember which cookbook contains that perfect recipe. In addition, you can connect directly with each cookbook author, leave comments/reviews and even ask questions about recipe substitutions, history, etc.

As you all know, Leilani has been the fearless leader to our Cali Metro region while Kelly went off to do her mom thing. This week is her official last week with us before heading back to her stomping grounds in AZ. Therefore, we wanted to give her a sendoff that is extra SWEET! One fun fact we learned about Leilani during her time with us was her love for all things culinary. With that in mind, we thought it would be great to pass along some sweet (or savory) recipes to remind her of the Cali Metro region team. If you don’t slay in the kitchen, that’s ok too. Feel free to contribute your favorite mocktail/cocktail recipe for future happy hours at the Cabuntala household.
