Swedish Glogg
This recipe was passed down to me from my Grandma and I know it's officially Christmas when the Glogg is ready. Submitted by: "Carla Rathmann"Sweet Potato Casserole
I first tried this dish in college and now I make this dish every holiday season! Submitted by: "Ali Smith"Veggie Dill Dip
This recipe has been handed down through four generations in my family. Every family gathering I can always expect it! Now whenever we entertain guest its a staple. Submitted by: "Dani Reynolds"Baked Beans With Meat
This is a great dish to serve with any holiday meal as well as any potluck. Submitted by: "Rhoda Rule-Anderson"Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
I make these cookies every Christmas for church bake sale and my family totally enjoys them. Submitted by: "Rhoda Rule-Anderson"Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cookies always turn out moist if not overbaked. Submitted by: "Rhoda Rule-Anderson"Grandma's Banana Bread
This is my grandma's recipe and it is one of my all-time favorite treats. The key is using shortening instead of butter and using the sour milk. Note that 3 medium sized bananas are the perfect amount-2 is not enough & 4 is too many! Submitted by: "Lori Checki"Pistachio Cherry Meltaways
Festive holiday cookies that are soft and delicious. A unique cookie recipe that does not use eggs. Tip-make sure to dry the cherries thoroughly with paper towel before adding to the dough as the cherry juice can turn the cookies brown. Submitted by: "Lori Checki"Tomato Basil Bisque
Delicious, flavorful, hearty soup, perfect for fall and winter. I made this for one of the Men's pot luck events and Theresa Parman recommends it. Submitted by: "Laura Burns"Strawberry Pie
This is a delicious, crowd pleasing favorite. Although this sounds like an easy recipe, I have to admit that I failed the first 3 times I tried to make it. Either my glaze didn't set up/get firm enough or my crust got soggy. The key points for success are: allow enough time, don't be in a hurry, allow the crust and glaze to cool completely. To activate the cornstarch and gelatin, don't be afraid to get this hot, don't stop at the first sign of a bubble. Bring to a full boil, (stirring madly) and allow to boil for at least 15 seconds. Submitted by: "Laura Burns"Moon Cake
What a wonderful version of an éclair, all the delicious decadence without all the work! Submitted by: "Laura Burns"Scones - you decide the flavor
My mother was a member of the area Homemaker's women's group and making this recipe was an assignment while discussing recipes of the UK. This became an immediate family favorite, there were never any left over. (unlike some of my mother's other assignments) Submitted by: "Laura Burns"Italian Ravioli
My Great Grandmother came to the USA from Italy & as the story goes all she brought with her was this recipe & her ravioli cutter. Pasta recipe included as well. Submitted by: "Chris Freeman"Homemade Pasta
This pasta recipe is great for ravioli or just to make pasta. Submitted by: "Chris Freeman"Frosted Sugar Cookies
This is my favorite Christmas recipe! It was passed down from my grandmother to my mother and my mother to me.Crockpot Corn & Two Bean Chili
This is one of my favorite slow cooker recipes! It is my go-to for potlucks! Submitted by: "Ali Smith"Cream Cheese Mints
This recipe was a staple in my maternal grandmother's house when I was growing up. Now, I make it during the holidays to remember her! Submitted by: "Ali Smith"Swedish Spritz Cookies
Makes me remember when my Mom used to make these when I was growing up. Submitted by: "Carla Rathmann"Hidden Valley Ranch Sausage Stars
This is a Christmas tradition for me to make these for our Christmas Eve appetizer buffet. Submitted by: "Helen Laufenberg"Jeweled Coconut Drops
We are all coconut lovers at our house so these always go over well. Submitted by: "Helen Laufenberg"Best Mimosa Recipe
You can use any flavor of sherbet that you like. My favorite is orange. You can also make this recipe into a mocktail without alcohol by substituting 7up for the champagne. Submitted by: "Amy Hunt"Braunschweiger Spread
Every year at the big family Christmas on my Mom's side this spread was a staple to pay homage to our German heritage. Even if you are not a fan of liver sausage try this recipe and you might change your mind. Submitted by: "Amy Hunt"Farmer Cookies
You can substitute Corn Flakes for Rice Crispy cereal. Any kind of Chips are good in this recipe. Submitted by: "Theresa Parman"Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake
A yearly requested family favorite for Thanksgiving Submitted by: "Marilyn Molldrem"Dessert Crepes
Dessert Crepes - Have them for breakfast, or create a dessert bar Submitted by: "Marilyn Molldrem"Sweet Potato Casserole
Sweet Potato Casserole with delicious pecan crunch topping Submitted by: "Jeff Mentink"Frozen Pistachio Cookie Dessert
This is a favorite dessert. It can be made ahead and keeps a long time in the freezer. If you like pistachios and Oreos, you should try this!! Submitted by: "Siera"Swiss Cheese Vegetable Casserole
Years ago, when my husband and I were dating, we spent our first Christmas together with his family. I had never been away from my home on Christmas before, so this day represented a lot of new experiences for me. My husband's mother made this casserole for Christmas dinner and it has been a family favorite since that day. There is not a Thanksgiving that has gone by that this casserole does not grace the table, it is truly a part of our history, as well as the history of both of our families. Just the aroma that fills the house when it is cooking evokes such beautiful memories from years gone by. Enjoy!! Submitted by: "Julie Wallis"Cowboy Caviar
A multi purpose recipe - eat with just chips, top your favorite Mexican dish, top your scrambled eggs, etc. Very versatile and delicious! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Polivka Family Swedish Meatballs
A great cold weather recipe. Full of flavor! Also makes great leftovers!! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Old Fashioned Rice Pudding
A lightly sweet dessert. Calming to the stomach if not feeling well. A true comfort dessert/snack. Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Cashew Nut Casserole
A mesh of flavors that go oh so good together! This could become a new family favorite! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Mexican Chicken Stuffed Shells
Mexican inspired pasta - how can you go wrong? Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Magic Liver Brownies - For Your Dog!
Your dog deserves a very special treat sometimes! This is a great recipe to make and freeze for special occasions. This also makes a great high value treat for training. Most dogs will do just about anything to get this! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Zucchini Mock Apple Pie
If you don't like mushy apples in your pie, this is a great alternative. The zucchini stays crisp & you would never know it isn't apple. This filling can be used anywhere you would use apple pie filling. A great way to use up the massive amounts of zucchini your summer plants produce! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Banana Split Dessert
Always a hit for a special occasion. Due to more work, not something you want to whip up often. However, you do not want to go through life without experiencing this amazing dessert! You would never know there isn't ice cream in this! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Berry Buttermilk Layer Cake
An easy to make from scratch cake that everyone will fall in love with. This has been a major hit at multiple Lands' End potlucks. I never bring any home! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"Garlic Lemon Shrimp Pasta
Buttery noodles with juicy plump shrimp, flavored with lemon and garlic!! A family-friendly dinner recipe that's ready in 15 minutes and it's so EASY!! Submitted by: "Marnie Polivka"White Chicken Enchiladas with sour cream sauce
Amazing chicken enchiladas with homemade sour cream white sauce-These are easy to make and off the charts delicious!! Super cheesy. Lots of chicken and a creamy rich sauce. Submitted by: "Becky Yelinek"Old Fashioned Caramel Corn
Best caramel flavor that everyone will LOVE!! Submitted by: "Carla Blaisdell"Vegetable Pizza
This recipe is so versatile and fun to make. The pizza concept makes this a very easy appetizer to serve! Being chilled and the veggies still raw, is a fresh take on pizza and appetizers. Such a simple dish, but always a big hit for parties or gatherings. Submitted by: "Julie Wallis"Cranberry Orange Rolls
What could be better than the scent of oranges, add in cranberries and rolls with a wonderful glaze and breakfast/brunch is served. These rolls will have a cult following the first time they are served!! Submitted by: "Julie Wallis"Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

Yummy treat to share during the holidays! Submitted by: "Angie Garthwaite"Jalapeno Poppers
These jalapeño poppers are stuffed with a fresh, herbed cream cheese mixture and topped with just enough cheddar cheese to turn golden. They are beyond delicious, and they’re not greasy at all. If a popper could be gourmet, this one is! I think they’re going to be your new favorite. Submitted by: "Siera"Grandma Schmitz's Sugar Cookies
