I'm an ACF Certified Pastry Chef (CPC), currently working on my next certification level (CWPC). I have a full time job at a wholesale baking company. I do it all... mixing, baking, decorating....and love it all! In addition to my full time job, I also freelance, custom designing wedding cakes, special occasion cakes and decorated cookies. I love my career choice. It is very hard work, and definitely not for the physically or emotionally weak. Not only do you have to haul 50lb bags of flour and sugar all day, but you have to be able to take constructive and not-so-constructive criticism without getting offended. My long term goal is to incorporate and expand my freelance work into a lucrative work-from-home-licensed-kitchen business. I love to talk shop, so drop me a line!
