All my life I have enjoyed cooking but it has only been in the last few years that I have really come to love creating delicious meals to share with my family and friends. I love to bake. So much so that this year I will be beginning a pastry apprenticeship. YAY! I am really looking forward to furthering my knowledge of a subject I love and beginning what will be a long and fruitful career (I hope!!). What is it that I love so much about baking - the magic of it all. The process of combining different ingredients to make a thick soupy type mixture and then *abracadabra* ending with a delicious and beautiful result that (generally) looks nothing like it did in the beginning.
