While being your typical office nerd by day I like to think of myself a little differently at home. Along with my yoga practice, my doggy, love of watching trashy TV shows, I love cooking, food shopping and trying new recipes- and then playing with new recipes that I make up myself. I love the challenge of opening up the pantry cupboards and coming up with a nutritious dinner for myself and the husband on a whim. I use cookbooks more for inspiration (and the pictures look fantastic) than a bible. I have been vegetarian for about 9 years. This is the way I was meant to eat. Some people don't understand how one could live without meat- but for me it's just not something I crave. My husband is vegan- so I am always on the lookout for great recipes and inspirations in the veg and vegan way. One of my goals is to introduce the people and the skeptics around me to fantastic and satisfying vegetarian foods.
