I have been baking since I was a child. I started by watching my mom make cookies, to licking the beaters, to making my own pies and eventually making and decorating wedding cakes. I do not have any children, but I have two dogs and two kitties.I resigned in 2006 as an Executive Director of a school after thirteen years. I stayed home for a year, and am now working for a global charity. I have won numerous ribbons for my baked goods as well as had the privilege of having a recipe published in Paula Deen's Magazine, and enjoyed watching her make the same recipe on her show Paula's Home Cooking. I enjoy baking and cooking for family and friends. I used to make all of the desserts for a bagel company in my city. To my amazement and delight; the desserts would sell out daily. I pride myself on using the best ingredients, and making good old fashioned desserts. One of my absolute favorite desserts is a really good chocolate cake or a really good lemon bar!!!
