I am a graphic designer that needed another outlet away from the computer for my creativity. So, I took the Wilton classes through Michael's 2 years ago and have been baking ever since. The normal cake requests I get are non-traditional, sometimes sculpted, 3-D, topsy-turvy, specific-to-the-occasion/person cakes. I had my first request for a sheet cake and wondered what does one do to decorate a sheet cake. LOL I have 2 kids (boy and girl, ages 6 and 3) and a wonderfully supportive husband who actually makes frosting and helps roll out fondant.
