I am a novice when it comes to cooking or baking. My godmother has taught me no matter what to always have a the fixin's for cookies, brownies or a cake on hand. It can be used as bribes, thank yous, or just a special treat. That advice has come in handy over the past few years. Since I have limited space in a small apartment I have not been able to expand my experiments beyond the basics. However, what is great about the last few jobs I have worked at I get to bring in all the treats I make and have my very own test kitchen :-) Goodies just never seem to last long in the breakrooms which I guess is a good thing.
