There are a hundred things that make me who I am -- most of all my three amazing children who give me a reason to wake, to work, to believe and to love. The kitchen is my comfort zone. I find fulfillment in preparing food for those I care for. The rhythmic hum of my grain mill comforts me. Baking is the yin to the yang that is exercise. I thrive on waking before the sun to be abused at my spinning class. All of these things being true, I must now mention that I'm an unbearable smartass and laugh at myself regularly. My weaknesses include my friends, loose leaf tea, scotch, NPR, Christopher Elbow chocolates, shoes, wine and wasabi.
